1:9 Flat Coated Retriever

The largest dog sculpture I've done yet. A 1:9 scale Flat Coated Retriever.  Modelled from a real dog called Bramble, who I actually had the privilege of meeting in real life.  He is a beautiful dog and I enjoyed sculpting him very much, you’ll notice this is my first dog with it’s mouth open too.  The part I love the most when sculpting is the detail, it was great fun doing the teeth and tongue!
My Brother, Jesse Knibbs (Trigger Happy Entertainment) took photos for me to work with, this is the pose the sculpture was based on.
Photographing the model was difficult, he's come out more brown than he really is.  I've been told that when photographing darker figurines, it is best to use a dark background, so I'll be trying that out next time.

1:5 Mini Jack Russell

Thanks to Gill for her commission.
Two miniature Jack Russell, Scrappy and Nipper in 1:5 scale
I'd never heard of a Miniature Jack Russell before, these two were a wonderful introduction to the breed.

With a two pence piece for scale
and some photos of the real doggies:

Millie the Cat 1:7

Thank you Kate for your commission.
Millie the cat, made in 1:7 scale

Male Sloth Bear 1:22

This is one I made a few weeks ago now, just haven't got round to posting it.  A few months ago I made a female Sloth Bear and cub for a client in Canada, he then asked me to make a male to complete the family.

This sculpture will be suspended above an 1:22 scale Asian diorama in America.
